Students from the Portuguese School of Mozambique visit JLA Office

JLA Advogados welcomed two students from the Portuguese School of Mozambique (Escola Portuguesa de Maputo - EPM) on 24 October, as part of the EPM@work initiative. The visit aimed to give them an insight into the daily life of lawyers in a relaxed environment and to answer their questions and curiosities about the profession.

The students, from the 10th and 12th grades, had the opportunity to closely follow the lawyers’ work — participating in legal proceedings, attending a trial, and engaging in informal interactions that provided them with a practical and enlightening perspective on the legal profession.

The students’ feedback was highly positive, highlighting the value of being able to clarify their questions directly with the lawyers and the practical nature of the visit — particularly “accompanying the lawyers in their day-to-day work,” they noted.
