Edna Sacate appointed member of the National Committee for Assessment, Traineeships and Professional Training

Edna Sacate has been appointed as a member of the National Committee for Assessment, Traineeships and Professional Training (CNAEFP) of the Mozambique Bar Association (OAM) for the 2026–2029 term.

The Committee’s primary objective is to promote the quality of legal training and legal practice in Mozambique by ensuring the coordination, supervision and assessment of professional traineeships, as well as the development of continuing professional development and specialised training initiatives for lawyers.

Its key responsibilities include modernising traineeship programmes, establishing assessment criteria, promoting training initiatives and implementing new teaching methodologies. The Committee also plays an important role in integrating digital tools and artificial intelligence into legal education and training, with a view to keeping pace with technological developments and the challenges facing the legal profession.
