JLA Advogados and Zara Jamal shortlisted for the African Legal Awards 2026

Zara Jamal has been shortlisted for the African Legal Awards 2026, organised by Law.com International.

Zara Jamal is shortlisted in the Women Leaders in Law – Private Practice category, which recognises women who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and made a significant impact in private practice.

JLA Advogados’ international partner, Abreu Advogados, is also shortlisted in the African Network / Alliance of the Year category, recognising the work carried out by the firm and its international network across the African continent.

These nominations reflect the quality of the work delivered by the teams and the ongoing commitment to strengthening an integrated and international legal presence in Africa.

The winners will be announced at the official African Legal Awards 2026 ceremony, taking place on 4 September at The Wanderers Club in Johannesburg, South Africa.
