JLA Advogados is the African Law Firm of the Year
JLA Advogados was elected yesterday, as the best law firm of the year in the African market, at the international awards Africa Legal Awards 2020, an initiative of Law.com International publisher.

This awards distinguishes the greatest achievements of the legal community in Africa and JLA Advogados, member of Abreu International, is the winner for the African Law Firm of the Year - Small Practice category.
Zara Jamal, partner at JLA Advogados was also a finalist in the Partner of the Year (Female) category.
JLA has 10 years of practice in the Mozambican market and a team of 10 lawyers who are dedicated to large foreign investment projects, having recently advised on what was the largest investment project in the country in the oil & gas area.
The winners were announced this afternoon at a virtual ceremony held by Africa Legal, the Corporate Counsel Association of South Africa and the Legal Week panel of judges of Law.com International. The awards are given annually in different categories and reflect the excellence of legal services in the African market.
